Herewith we send N.sch.2827 shewing a
suggestion for conveying some of the oil from a servo drip
plug on to the cam faces.

It is suggested that the bulk of the oil will
probably go down on to the servo shaft bearings, and a
proportion only will reach the cams. Evidently it is
possible to vary this proportion by altering the drilling
of the vertical hole and the height of the sloping hole.
This can probably best be determined experimentally.

It will be necessary to fit a rather larger
drip plug.

It will be noticed that we suggest that since
the lever on the countershaft across the gearbox has been
increased in length, and therefore its angular movement
reduced, it is desirable to lengthen the link connecting
to the cam lever so that this lever may move equally on
either side of its centre. If left as now the geometry
would be bad.
