X.6051b 20/25 SPEEDOMETER EX 18-GIV.

In our EFCL/AML.3.10.30 we recorded the result of test of this instrument previous to the 10,000 mile test. It has also been again tested subsequent to the 10,000 mile test and the comparative readings of the two tests are as follows :-

Temperature M.P.H. indicated
(°C) at 600 R.P.M.
exactly.

Before 10,000 After 10,000
mile test. mile test.

16.0 47.2 -
16.5 - 46.8
20.0 46.8 46.5
22.0 46.6 46.1
24.0 46.4 45.9
26.0 46.2 45.7
28.0 46.0 45.6
30.0 45.8 45.4
32.0 45.6 45.2

The correct miles per hour reading when driven at 600 R.P.M. is 48.5.

It will be seen that the reading of the instrument has altered comparatively slightly, in this instance becoming slightly less than previously. It was, as reported in our EFCL/AML.3.10.30, somewhat low at the beginning of the test.
