Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} GRY{Shadwell Grylls} STD sft{Mr Swift}/WNW.1/DR.29.1.36. 20/30 HP CHASSIS - "L2" SERIES - RADIATOR. With reference to the above, we are giving the Works position in order to clear up the situation regarding Radiators. We find that the O.O. have ordered Mark III type of Matrix for the whole of "L2" series. We are therefore, proposing that we continue to build the present type Radiator with Cast side frames etc. up to the 100 th Chassis in "L2" series. For the 101st Chassis in "L2" series we wish to use the Mark III Matrix together with Pressed Metal Side Plate and butted rear joint in the top tank. This would give us a total economy of £58 for 100 chassis. In Connection with Mark V Matrix, should this be introduced for "M2" Series, there will be 300 sets of Pressed Metal side plates to scrap, at a cost of £48. | ||
