368 244/Kenton Cheshunt D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} Posted on 8th Oct 7th October 1938. Dear Mr. Marvin, I have had the pleasure of writing to you every year for the last eighteen years, and sending you slips of paper for car or cars. !! I am getting a new one for delivery on the 31st December and the object of this letter is to ask you if there is any possibility of getting a number that is easy to remember. In other words, do you start a new series of letters/or numbers at the beginning of each year. I have always been registered with you and should like to continue. - Kent. One of my present cars has got four numbers, which I can never remember and I thought if you were going to start a new group at the beginning of this year that it might be possible for me to bespeak a number for my number plates, and send you the cheque for the tax as usual about the 26th December. I do not know whether this is done or can be done, but I thought I would write to you not officially on the matter as you might be able to help. Yours sincerely, [Illegible signature] E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Marvin Esq;. | ||
