You have now given us a very defin-ite reason for fitting a more rigid control to the front axle so that the spring deflection with the brakes shall not affect the steering.

We shall endeavour to get out a design suitable for the complete chassis. Something has already been done here to make a work-able job.

In the meantime I would like you to test the possibilities of irreversible steering to see whether this would render the car safer.

Naturally one would recommend that we very defin-itely increased the backward lean of the pivots to the maximum amount permissible for other reasons.
