To DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} (Handwritten: X8992 (crossed out)) Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/LG27.11.26. EAC-7. (Handwritten: X8992, X7830 (crossed out)) Replying to DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/M25.11.26. We think it is essential that R.{Sir Henry Royce} should see this chassis before it leaves for Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence. (Handwritten insertion: for EAC-V11) It is not possible in that time to alter the body to make it anything like reasonable. We therefore propose bringing the car to WW. with an ordinary test kit i.e. ballast box and seat. We think it will be better to do this than to try and rig up a bodged-up body.
