BENTLEY BEARINGS A.C.9 MATERIAL.

In addition to the centri cast big end bearings you have produced for us in A.C.9 material (Ex.30568) will you please produce some as a gravity die cast job close to the finished size.

The necessary die you will have to produce should cover the manufacture of Bentley big ends EB.3377, Wraith big ends EW.1479 and the big ends for trial on our Bentley test unit (Ex.30568)

We do not know how long it will take to produce this die but we require such bearings as soon as possible, will you therefore regard this memo as an official order for two sets (12).

The results obtained so far with centricast bearings have not proved very successful and the die-cast are required as an alternative.

Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}
