We send you herewith prints of Ks.175.P. and K.S.180.P. which shew the gauges we have standardised for the S.S. and 20 HP.

Messrs. Hobson have made one or two attempts to produce a nice cover for the triple air line on the tank and these prints shew their final scheme. It may be that we can evolve something better but we think the arrangement shewn on these prints is not unsightly, in any case it will be largely covered by the spare wheel, luggage grid etc.

We consider that as the next series 20 HP. tanks will not be identical with the India-4 tanks we have been running in the Expl., that Messrs. Hobson should be allowed to check up the first of these tanks produced on production at their Works so that they can finally guarantee the accuracy of the installations they will supply in bulk. It might also be advisable for their representative to come along when the first chassis is completed and check up the functioning installation when coupled to the dashboard unit.

We presume that the Works will appreciate (a) the necessity of the tank centre-line being held vertical when it is attached to the chassis (b) the angle of the flange being correct with the centre-line of the tank, as these are two essentials for getting the gauge right.
