- 10 - Undershields - continued. shield for the controls. Petrol Tank. Assembled in accordance with LOP.FB.3975 incorporating F.CD.711. With the exception of dents at either end (see attached photograph) the tank is in good condition. The woven canvas lamp wick FW.1816 secured to the tank by "Bostick" rubber cement is quite satisfactory. As will be seen from the attached photograph, the joint rubber FB.4098 for the air vent connection has failed. The joint rubber FB.2445 for the petrol filler joint, however, is satisfactory. The petrol tank support straps FB.3969/70 are also in good condition. Dashboard and Fittings. The pressed steel dashboard FB.3651 incorporating F.CD.532 is in good condition. Petrol Filter. Traces of rubber from FB.4098 and the usual sediment were found in the filter bowl. Condition of assembly good. Petrol Pump. The S.U. pump is satisfactory. Petrol Piping. Condition satisfactory. Floorboards and Fittings. This section is quite satisfactory. Oil Pump on Dash. Condition good. continued. | ||
