Memo from G.W.H. to Hs. regarding the cancellation of a trial with the Phantom car.

Identifier  ExFiles\Box 56\2\  Scan006
Date  1st July 1932

To Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from G.W.H.

Reims
1/7/32

Mr Pass telegraphed Sg {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} to day saying that he had given up the idea of the trial with the Phantom. The sole reason is that the bar is too large for the boxes on the passes and enroute.
We are returning to Boulogne in the morning where I expect to pick up my own car and proceed to Chateauroux(French test region). I will forward you full particulars of the trip from there.
