-2- together and the welder will either burn the metal or not make a proper weld so that the frame will be pulled and distorted. During a previous visit this design was shown to Mr. Buckley who raised no serious objection to it, and it would appear again that the Drawing Office and the Works are not in full agreement It was decided to modify the Bentley 111 frame by having a vertical lower flange and a frame section therefore like the Hillman Minx. The designs are being modified, and the Production D.O. has been warned of the modification verbally. It should be noted that letters concerning frames should be addressed to Messrs.Rubery Owen Ltd., Motor Frame Dept., and for the attention of Mr.Sinnatt. EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
