Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

For attention of Mr. Robotham.

Dear Sirs,

With regard to the modified form of Silent tyre, you advised us some time ago that you were giving the sample tyres a 10,000 miles test, and that if this proved satisfactory, you would in all probability adopt this particular form of tread for future requirements.

We are considering our general mould programme, and it would be of assistance to us if any indication could now be given as to the likelihood of your adopting the type of tread referred to.

We want to do all we can to avoid any delay in supply which would ensue if we had to wait to make moulds until you had completely satisfied yourselves - hence our enquiry for the indication asked for.

Yours faithfully,
for DUNLOP RUBBER COMPANY LTD.,

W.Bonds
Development Manager.
