For the attention of Mr. Donald Sessions.

Dear Sirs,

Thank you for your letter of the 26th, inst. with reference to your visit to us on Thursday, the car fitted with jacks will unfortunately not be available. We have, however, the front jack and brackets, and one of the rear jacks and its bracket; the handle however is away with the car. If you can bring a handle with you we can quite easily fit the jacks to another car. This will enable us to finally clear up the question of lift on the front, which we believe you are still rather doubtful about.

We also wish to discuss with you the question of fitting these latest jacks to cars fitted with 20" tyres; it would appear necessary to carry the jacks ½" lower to retain the same lift we get with 19" wheels. This point is rather urgent as we have I believe three cars just leaving the works which have to be fitted with D.W.S. jacks.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS ROYCE LIMITED.
