- 2 - the luggage grid being folded, they never all finish at the same angle; to make them finish at the same angle would entail a considerable amount of fitting and put up the cost. Even now it is necessary to fit one of them so that it tightens up in one particular position so as not to foul the petrol tank filler cap. We should much prefer to use the knurled nut type of fixing that was used on previous grids for fixing the last extension. These have the advantage of being less conspicuous and possibly less costly, it is also possible to incorporate a definite stop for the closed and open position of this portion of the grid. (4) Although the shape of the handle used on our grids has been the same for some time, we think it is generally agreed that they are not at all easy to use, and hurt the palm of the hand. We should welcome an alternative shape. Apart from these points we like the new grid, it is undoubtedly a big improvement upon previous ones. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} | ||
