Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} /2.2.26. re:- Squeaks from Front Wheel Brakes. BJ. tells me that you wish to have a note of some cars on which we have noticed the front wheel brake squeaks. Two of our cars, namely mine, 118-MC and FBS {F. Bell Scott} 's, 4-YG, are now in the Works at W. They both suffer from this defect. BJ. suggests that you will note to arrange to try these cars. As a matter of interest I may say that I have come across quite a large number, and St's car, 71-SG {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} , which is here in Town now, is doing the same-thing. Bt. {Capt. J. S.
