c. Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 1001. 12th.March 1938. Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}10/N. Messrs.Park Ward & Co.Ltd. 473, High Road, Willesden, London N.W.10. Confidential. For the attention of C.Falconer.Esq., Dear Sir, Many thanks for your letter of the 11th. inst, and the drawings of the doors, to enable us to get the locks. You will see from the attached copy of letter to Messrs.Wilmot-Breeden, what we have said. The drawings say nothing about a recessed remote control door handle on the driver's door, and which is mentioned in the specification, so we have asked for this, and added a note to the drawing. We will let you know in due course when the first set of locks will be available, and should you before hearing from us, find it necessary to have some locks in order not to hold up the body of 1.B.50, will you kindly communicate with us, when we will agree to the use of an alternative lock. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. Car Project Office. | ||
