Oxidation of Tungsten Points.
The tungsten rods mentioned in the previous report 12-8-20, have been subjected to further sparking at the faced ends, by connecting them through a Lucas dynamo field winding, for an inductance, to a 12 volt battery and continually making and breaking contact for about 4 hours.
The positive rod blackened uniformly over the contact area & the negative turned brown, with
