Dear Sirs,

We are contemplating production on a large scale of thermostatic units for control of motor car radiators, and enclose herewith a drawing showing the dimensions of the case in which the unit will be housed.

The special feature of this unit will be the use of Hydron bellows, which are formed by a special process that automatically reveals any flaws in the metal out of which the bellows are made, and they can consequently be relied upon to operate with greater efficiency and for a longer period than bellows formed by ordinary machining. The process and the advantages are briefly described in the enclosed folder.

Before going into production we would like to have some idea as to whether the proposed unit is likely to be suitable for your next years' requirements. We shall therefore be very much obliged if you will be so kind as to furnish us with this information by answering with a simple negative or affirmative the question asked on the slip contained in the attached envelope. It is anticipated that the price of our new thermostatic unit will not exceed the present average price of this class of equipment. This information, which we have have asked for in this form in order to cause you the minimum of inconvenience would be of considerable assistance to us. and your courtesy in supplying it would be greatly appreciated.

Yours faithfully,

THE DRAYTON REGULATOR & INSTRUMENT COMPANY LTD.
