13. Re heating of our standard Radiator. under severe conditions of hill climbing.
Mr Percy Northey reported that we had lost an order from Mr J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Loring on the ground that he feared a under 6-cylinder car would not be able to take long hill climbs without considerable trouble with the cooling system. Mr Northey suggests that we might reduce the limitations of our cooling system by the use of a feathering type of fan or that two step fan belt pulleys should be arranged. Mr Johnson sent this matter to the Technical Committee for their consideration.
