Dear Sirs,

Re Jacks for Phantom III.

We wish to confirm our remarks to you during your visit to our works last week, with reference to the Hydraulic Jacks for Phantom III.

We are very anxious to survey ways and means of reducing the cost of the Sessions Jacking system as a whole, so to bring it more nearly into line with the cost of competitive systems.

When the jacking scheme was designed every interest was centred on perfection of working and due to a shortness of time not enough time could be expended on economies in design and manufacture.

We would welcome from you a revised system with an approximate price, and we suggest that the following are some of the parts where economies might be effected:-

(1) Rams - cheapened glands.
(2) Cheapened reservoir.
(3) Standard pump.
(4) Copper pipe in the place of hand drawn brass.

We, in turn, will consider fitting the standard trap door to the floor in the place of our present more expensive fitting.

All of the above remarks apply to the jacking system as at present used.

As a further move we would ask you to consider designs and a price for the same system but with the front jacks
