CHASSIS VALVE SPRINGS.

With reference to memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}1/AP.24.12.36. will you kindly instruct experimentally three sets of valve springs to LeC.5417 but produced in Swedish Heat Treated Carbon Steel Wire.
Will you also kindly instruct a further three sets of springs to the essential particulars given in LeC.5417 but with three coils at the large diameter end, close coupled as shewn on drawing Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}260 herewith. These are also to be produced in Swedish Wire.
Will you let us have a print of this latter spring as soon as possible so that we can proceed to get a cam made for the spring coiling machine, so as to be in readiness when the wire is received.
