Messrs. Ferodo Ltd.,
Chapel-en-le-Frith.

2nd. November 1937.

For the attention of Mr. Longley.

Dear Sirs,

We have received your letter of Oct.30th, for which we thank you.

However, since you are in a position to make a small number of experimental belts and since it has become important that we should improve the standard of durability of our fan belts as soon as possible, the writer thinks that there would be no point in deferring his visit as suggested. He would therefore like to visit your works some time next week in order to discuss this subject.

If you would be good enough to make an appointment he could come over any day next week other than Friday, Nov. 12th.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
