X4342V Extract from R7/M30.12.21. RE VISIT OF MESSRS Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} & H.. TO WEST WITTERINGHenry Royce's home town ON WEDNESDAY 21st. DECEMBER 1921. GOSHAWK II. (12) ELECTRIC STARTER. X.4342V. X.4383. Use the C.A.V. electric starter if our own is not ready. Our own should be ready if we use press button switch, and the improved pinion or C.A.V. pinion. I think, however, that for starting the engine there is nothing yet so good as the relay system working on a cycle of operations as already suggested and patented by us. We think this is quite necessary for a big engine. | ||
