-5- (5) To get the gear lever in the most comfortable position, the drivers cushion wants to be cut away slightly on the O.S. front corner to miss the gear lever in top and second speed. (6) Anything that can be done to improve the 'pot' for the pedals will be an asset. At present on a long run, the sharp edge rubbing the top of the heel is rather trying. (7) This type of body, as was shewn upon Peregrine III, is the worst for shewing up booms. Asbestos treatment of the scuttle and floorboards would therefore have a chance to prove its worth. (8) Is there a proprietary type of stone guard that we could try for the radiator. The car is so low that it may be found necessary. (9) Generally speaking, the body so far has stood up remarkably well, and there are few rattles apart from the bonnet. It is the centre of attraction when the car pulls up in a town. It also seems to catch the eye of the Gendarme with embarrassing frequency! ----------- HA/RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
