We have sent through an alteration 4372/F, by which the Fibre Washer F.51,258, for the Petrol Level Indicator has been replaced by F.52,197, produced in agglomerated cork. There are at present in the Stores, two gross of washers F.52,197, and these should be brought in straight away, the Fibre Washers being scrapped A.T.D. Will you kindly inform the D.O., the Chassis Number on which these Washers commence to be fitted, as standard, so that our records may be kept in order.
