(g) Opening Screens.

We find on 30.G.Vll. that the outer rubber seal on the screen at the lower corners acts as a pump unless the screen frame itself beds well at these corners. Water enters the car, and we suggest that either one fits a felt inner seal to the screen or preferably one re-instates the inner water channel and drain holes which we used to have.

(h) Luggage Boot Lid{A. J. Lidsey} Cover.

The inner cover of the luggage boot lid{A. J. Lidsey} of 10.B.5. was warped and allows the tools to jump out of their recesses. Also the rubber comes out of the metal channels.

(i) Spare Wheel Well of 10.B.5.

This is not vertical, it is so placed that it pitches the wheel in at the top.

(j) Fit of Bonnets.

On 10.B.5. the bonnet top plate is riding on top of the bonnet side plate at the back and the bonnet top plate is not bedding on the radiator at the front. The bonnet of 3.B.50 is very similar as also is that of 11.B.5.

(k) The appearance of the head on the Drop Head Coupe 10.B.5. when down was criticised by Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} as looking untidy. Mr. Ward was requested to have made a head cover and he promised to send up and fit same when completed.

(l) The size of the 10.B.5. back light was criticised as being small in height. It was pointed out that this is controlled by the folding of the head, but it was agreed that further investigations should be made to improve this feature even at the expense of abandoning the flap. We suggest that two back lights should be better from a driver's point of view than one, as it would give a better horizontal angle /vision. /of
