readjusting the slow speed lever & valve. But the carburation is still somehow erratic. I may go out with a very good running, like I did to-day, & on the way, after about 50 miles I was having misfiring, which disappeared on my putting the lever & switch, strong - I investigated the carburetter & could see no irregularity - so I take it that the valve must have been sticky at that time - all was normal again on returning my journey ~ I am enclosing herewith Time & Expenses Sheets for week ending the 16th inst. as I only got them back from Sir P.N. this morning - I will forward later Time & Expenses sheets for week ending yesterday - Would you think it advisable to have the cylinder head down & valves ground & reset - at the same time decarbonising? I am not particularly struck with the evenness of the 6 compressions - if so kindly suggest it to Sir P.N. I will report again during the next week. Yours faithfully L.H. Lawso- | ||
