Commander Bristow brought here a magneto which we understand is to be the model of the future magnetos for the R.R. aero engines. We should be glad if you will let Mr.Elliott [handwritten above: Ellis] first test this and tell us any peculiarities it has over the others of the same type, and then test it on an engine to see whether it fills the purpose intended at all the various speeds.
