(2) We should therefore very much like you to look into this matter again on the lines of N.scheme 1361. We should prefer not to reduce the angle of the levers so much as you suggest. On N.sch. 1361 we suggest 25° for the top lever, which leaves us 20° for pulling on after the clearance has been taken up before adjustment is necessary. We have been for some time considering how we could lighten the boss of the cross steering lever, and on this scheme we suggest a modification which we should like to be carried out, at any rate experimentally.
