To B.J. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Ps. (Paris) c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} x8430 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/LG23. 8. 26. PHANTOM STEERINGS. x8450 Reference Ps1/Crn20. 8. 26. R.{Sir Henry Royce} has agreed that we can change side steering tube springs only on original Phantom steerings to overcome customers complaints. We have issued a standardisation sheet for this alteration and are only waiting for PN.{Mr Northey} to return his sheet when it will be completed and sent on to you. Technically, therefore, there is no reason why the springs cannot be changed as Ps. suggests. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
