Clarifying information sent to Belgian Agents regarding change gear and side brake levers.

We return herewith Mr Royce's memo R1/P 22.7.14 because before carrying out your instructions written thereon we would like to make a further explanation. The information sent to the Belgian Agents was obtained in consultation with Messrs Bailey and Day and is information which is regularly given to all Coachbuilders in Great Britain and on the Continent, and the Belgian Agents themselves must previously have had the information supplied them on Coachbuilders drawings etc. although they did not appear to have understood it. Since we received our copy of Mr Royce's memo we of course took the point up again with the Drawing Office and Mr Bailey immediately wrote Mr Royce further explaining the position. We attach herewith a copy of Mr Bailey's memo By3/G23714. The advice we actually gave to the Belgian Agents was that they should always use whenever possible the "set out" | ||
