Dear Sir,

As requested by Capt. Barnato. the brief particulars of my career are as follows.

1. Schooling: rather mixed. secondary during the War. finishing at the Northern Polytechnic at Holloway. & three years at the L.C.C. Technical Institute of Engineering at Hackney.

2. In 1921 I went to Bentley Motors as an Improver in the original exp. Shop, the next year I assisted in building the T.T. racing cars. under Mr. F.C. Clement. I helped to build every racing car that was built by Bentley Motors up till the last effort at. Le. Mans. During the Winter Months when there was no racing I did a lot of Service Work travelling all over Scotland & the
