Answering your enquiry with reference to the battery belonging to the above chassis, it appears that the battery would be one of the old type in which case we know the cells are liable to become short circuited by buckling. If this is the case an arrangement might be made with the customer by which he has one of the up-to-date batteries at a special price, or now that we have standardised the P & R BDT11 battery, perhaps he would care to make a fresh start at his own expense, utilising one of these.
