-3- Back Light. Flat back light as on 7.B.5. ( not V.{VIENNA} as 9.B.5). To be as long as possible and to be as low as possible. Body Mounting. Bolted solid to Floatex bushes in the chassis brackets provided as on 9.B.5. Front Seats. Sliding bucket seats as on 9.B.5. The bases of the seats to be raised as on this car to give room for the toes of the rear passengers. Cushions to give support around the edges. The squabs to be gusseted to wrap round the occupants back. Driving squab to have air-bag. 10.B.5. to be model. Rear Seat. To be to dimension drawn on PD.206. The squab and cushion of 9.B.5. are not good enough. 10.B.5. to be model. Fixed side armrests and folding centre armrests. Ventilation. Top scuttle ventilator with lever operation, no tray and sealed flap facing forwards. Flap ventilators to the front doors of the pivotting type which are flush as devised by Bm/PD. and fitted to 7.B.5. Heating. Heater on dash, either Hadees or R.R. with defrosting blower. Ducts to be provided in screen rail and capping as designed by Derby. Flap valve to be provided to cut out defroster. Wind Noises. All precautions to be taken to avoid wind noises, including the external rubber seal to the doors as fitted to 9.B.5. Inner door welts to be improved to form a more effective seal as suggested by Mr.Ward. Sound Insulation. Dash insulation and scuttle to be carried out as per Derby's instructions. The rest of the body to be treated for noise deadening as per our present standard requirements. Floors to be covered in felt 1.000 thick under carpet to deaden high speed road tremors.
