Dear Sir, We beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 26th. inst. with regard to the use of Benzole on a 20-HP Rolls-Royce car recently purchased by one of your colleagues. We presume you refer to W. Newton Drew Esq., whom we understand has purchased a 20-HP Rolls-Royce car, No. GDK-39. We are arranging to carry out the final test of this complete car when finished at the coachbuilders on Benzole which Mr. Newton Drew is arranging to be supplied for this purpose. We have already informed this gentleman that we will arrange to supply a special float for the carburetter to enable him to run on this spirit. With regard to the question of the use of Benzole with Rolls-Royce cars generally, we have passed your letter on to our Experimental Department, for their attention. We are, Yours faithfully, | ||
