Potential improvements to the appearance of the lower controls on the 27-EX car.

Bailey - Chief Engineer} LOWER CONTROLS. Whilst 27-EX. car is at W.V. we think it would be a good opportunity to clear up the lowered controls. We have had these fitted to one or two cars but they have been criticised and the latest arrangement is fitted on to 27-EX. Although this also has the extra lever for the gear, this does not effect the general arrangement. We think it will be agreed that the control-levers on 27-EX. could be improved in appearance.
