I understand from Lp.{Mr Lappin} that he is going to send his 20/25 up to you shortly for certain work to be done, i.e. decarbonising, attention to noisy timing gears etc.

He is also, I understand, going to ask for suggestions from you for fitting a trailing attachment.

Lp.{Mr Lappin} is anxious that we should do something special and has suggested that we should fit him a synchromesh box.

I understand that the Experimental Dept. have a surplus one, that it means a new propeller shaft and one or two other alterations, and apart from the actual supply of the box I should be glad to know approximately what the job is likely to cost.

I should also like to see the account for the other work which is done to the car before it is sent in.
