Re: 25HP SYNCHROMESH GEAR BOX.

REVERSE GEAR.

We have carried out the following tests with the new full length taper bush EX.7841 fitted to the reverse pinion, with no sign of any trouble whatsoever.

(1) 2 full throttle reverses up Piston Hill.
(2) 3 full throttle reverses up Ticknall Hill.
(3) 100 yds 20-30 M.P.H. reverse on level road.
(4) Dynamometer test 1/2 hour full throttle 1,500 engine revs.

This full length taper bush replaces the two bushes G.55134 which have given trouble by working out when under load. The new bush should be incorporated in the production gear box.
