-2- We should very much like information on the new Alklum Battery in which cadmium and iron are used as the active elements. We are informed that this battery gives an extraordinary performance and is practically indestructible. Furthermore as the battery container is heavily plated it is impossible for corrosion to occur as was the case with the old nickel iron batteries. The makers have offered to guarantee this battery for ten years and they are sending us further particulars of a technical nature concerning its performance. It is quite likely you have investigated the claims of this battery and we should much appreciate your confidential note concerning it.
