To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.4/AP.2.7.37 3000 32-EX. Will you please fit Smith's thermometer supplied by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. (1) Bulb to go in adaptor already fitted at front of "A" side cylinder head. (2) Capillary to be clipped to ignition conduit over exhaust sparking plugs. (3) Coils in capillary to allow for engine movement between rear of head and dash to be wound to form a Helical spring. (4) Capillary to pass through dash at same place as existing thermometer. (5) Instrument to be mounted on a bracket below instruments. (6) Existing thermometer to remain in position.
