(2) WD{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} 9/AD 7.5.29...contd. those parts which could not be used were included in the inventory already referred to. The parts have no interest for Repair Dept, as the chassis never went into production. In reply to Mr. Cowen's note, By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} wrote Sales (C) on the 1st inst. as follows :- "We note from your memo reference C11/C30.4.29. that you do not want to build any more chassis similar to 16-EX, and we therefore propose to dispose of all the material we have that is only suitable for this type of chassis. "We should like to make it clear that all the material has already been inspected, and any parts that can be made suitable for production or repairs have been put into the respective stores to be used, and it is only material that cannot be used for either production or repairs that we are considering". I shall be pleased to learn whether you wish me to proceed to dispose of the material. Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} | ||
