Mr. Hives from GWH. {George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} X4305 29.12.22. HOT SPOT THROTTLES. We have tested two of these throttles which have been heat treated before final grinding. The test was half an hour full throttle, 1750 revs. with the valve shut in the down take exhaust pipe. The throttles were allowed to cool down - a second test was then taken.
