Conclusion.

If the load at end of actuator arm does not exceed 65 - 70% of maximum for standard actuator and 70-75% for 400 x 2 turn actuator, there is no noticeable lag in the pulling on of actuator.

Maximum load lifted - coils cold - of actuators tested.

(a) 400 x 2 turn actuator 5 lbs. 13 ozs.
(b) Standard " 2 lbs. 10 ozs.

{ Current taken by main switch & actuator (a) = 7.30 amps.
{ " " "/ actuator (a) = 6.20 amps.
{ Amp. turns actuator (a) = 5000

{ Current taken by main switch & actuator (b) = 3.83 amps.
{ " " " actuator (b) = 2.63 amps.
{ Amp. turns actuator (b) = 3200
