200a To G.W.Hancock Esq., C/O Hotel de France, Chateauroux, Indre, FRANCE. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Whym.26/AP.18.1.37. 6.B.1V. EXHAUST SYSTEM. With reference to your memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}3/JAB.13.1.37. There is a doubt in the minds of HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} and Fisher as to whether you found the bolts missing out of the exhaust stay to the crankcase when you first arrived at Chateauroux, or whether you only noticed it after your people had dismantled the bottom half to fit the new bearings. Personally, I do not think the latter, but will you please let us know definitely so that we can clear the matter up at this end. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Whym. | ||
