PHANTOM 11. CHASSIS ROAD SPRINGS.
==============================

To enable standardisation tests to be carried out with Phantom 11. road springs with rolled eyes, we hand you blueprints of the following drawings :-

F.85184 Front Road Springs - low rated type.
F.85172 Rear Road Springs - low rated type.

Will you please order one set (two offeach) from Messrs. Firths, the front springs being 1200 lbs. poundage, and the rear springs 1400 lbs. poundage.

We are only proposing to have the low rated type springs tested, and if satisfactory the normal and stiffer type springs could also be made similarly.

On receipt of the sample set of springs, will the Experimental Department please arrange for the necessary bumping tests to be carried out with a view to issuing standardisation sheets.

Will ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} please note that road springs with rolled eyes must not be ordered for production chassis until the completion of the standardisation procedure.
