To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. X 200a Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.5/MH.{M. Huckerby}11.11.37. 3.B.IV CAR. As it has now finally been settled that M series Bentley will have dummy shutters and thermostat system to LeC.3438, we wish to convert 3.B.IV to this scheme [strikethrough]for its French running[/strikethrough]. It is already fitted with the correct water pump and we will supply the thermostat unit and casing complete. Will you please fit this to 3.B.IV and make the necessary 5/8" connecting pipe from the thermostat casing to the water pump, and at the same time modify the top water pipe to line up with the thermostat outlet. This work should be carried out while the car is in the shop this time. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. | ||
