-5- BENTLEYS. 1-B-IV. This is allotted to getting the correct carburetter needles with the larger air silencer on the large bore unit. Also for Gry{Shadwell Grylls}'s experiments on brakes. 2-B-IV. We should confirm the clutch tests on this car before it is handed over to Sales. 3-B-IV. Tests are being carried out with the float chamber reversed on this car to overcome weakness in picking up. When this car goes into the shop it should have a standard brake system fitted. 5-B-IV. The frame and body are being despatched to Park Wards for the coachwork to be rectified. Will Steadman please follow up the new cross member which has just been issued. B-23-AH. Before this chassis is despatched to have another body fitted we want to complete tests on the flywheel, clutch and cantilever pedals, also to fit an exhaust system similar to 5-B-IV. Gry{Shadwell Grylls} is interested in the flywheel and clutch tests. The front engine mounting should be made standard for these tests. Bentley Axle Failures. Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} will get it to run an axle with the toe bedding to confirm this point. 6-B-IV.
