BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Copy to BJ. HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ORIGINAL. E2/M12.9.28. X7230. X7070 X7050 EAC. 10. INDUCTION PIPES. We send you herewith drawings LeCS. 2591/2., dealing with the above. The former shews the alterations required to the cylinder head for an exhaust heated jacket on the induction pipe, while the latter gives particulars of the water heated scheme. What we desire to do is to alter the cylinder head to LeC. 2591., but rig up the actual chassis itself to LeC. 2592. Should the water heating be found insufficient it will always be possible to revert to exhaust heating if the cylinder head has been made with the necessary features on it. We have in hand schemes for the controls. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
