Dear Sirs,

Watford IS.12 Magnetos Nos.98033/4.

We have now received these two machines back from you, one of which, namely 98033 you have fitted with new armature to bring it up-to-date and in line with 98034.

The point we are writing about, however, is that we have noted that the safety gap of 98033 is 9.7 mm. as against only 8.7 mm. on 98034. We query whether this is intentional and whether you are prepared for the machine to pass through the engine type test arranged with this gap. Will you please let us know at your earliest convenience.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
