The new hydraulic damper to N.Sch.3190 incorporates no unknown factors except the single valve for the two shock absorber loads. In our opinion it is very doubtful if this valve will work. We think it would be a great pity to get these shock absorbers completely made and then find that the valves had to be re-designed. If BY. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} would detail the valve spring and valve with chamber (there is no need to get thermostat bellows for the test), we can easily test it out on the existing damper and if it does not work we can get W.W. to alter it at once, so saving a great deal of time. Will you please let me know if you will do this?. Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
